A flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Saturday at 4:38 p.m. in effect until Monday at 6 p.m. for Orange, Putnam, Rockland and Westchester counties.

The weather service states, "Minor to locally moderate flooding is expected in low-lying areas along the Hudson River due to 3 to 4 feet of storm surge up the Hudson River during the times of high tide Sunday afternoon, Sunday Night and Monday afternoon."

"Scattered areas minor to locally moderate flooding is expected in the most vulnerable locations near the waterfront and shoreline. Expect around 1 to 2 feet of inundation above ground level in low-lying, vulnerable areas.
