LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - Decked out in bright colors, runners gave it their all in the KGNS+ and United Way 5K Neon Dash on Saturday, October 11.

Alan Anderson took home the gold in the men’s 5K with a total time of 16 minutes and 12 seconds.

Rodolfo Leza finished in second place and Jose Pineda finished in third.

For the ladies, Prissy Salinas took home the gold in the 5K with a total time of 21 minutes and 2 seconds.

Holly Hourigan finished in second place and Nora Marquez finished in third.

Congratulations to the winners, and a big thanks to everyone who participated.

Proceeds from the event will support United Way of Laredo.
