LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - In the early morning of Saturday, October 11, Laredo police officers were near the corner of Jalapa Street and Cuatro Vientos responding to a motorcycle accident when a second crash happened right in front of them.

Police say a Ford Mustang ran into a Chevrolet Camaro, then the Camaro crashed into the officer’s patrol car. The officer was not in the car at the time of the crash.

The driver of the Camaro, 23-year-old Allen Trevino, ran away after the crash, leaving his car.

He later returned to the scene of the accident and police arrested him.
