ALLEN PARK -- The Detroit Lions made a handful of roster moves as they try to fill in the gaps on the offensive line and secondary.

Earlier on Saturday, the Lions downgraded defensive back Avonte Maddox, and offensive tackles Taylor Decker and Giovanni Manu from questionable to out .

And a couple of hours later, they placed Manu on injured reserve. Manu, who started for the first time last week, will now miss at least the next four games. The 2024 fourth-round pick popped up on Thursday’s practice report with a knee injury.

It’s a tough-luck injury update for the developmental project that finally got a chance to play in the regular season. Decker remains in wait-and-see mode as the Lions try to get him in a better spot with his shoulder injury for the long haul.
