WILKES-BARRE — The crisp fall temperatures are here, signaling that winter is on its way.
And with the cold and snow will come the time to answer some difficult questions — especially for the homeless population.
Where will they find a suitably warm place to sleep?
Where will they find a warm meal?
Where can they get a shower?
Where can they go for help?
How will they survive?
Tough questions for sure — the answers are much tougher.
Frankly, adequately addressing the homeless situation is way overdue. Helping them is the very least we as a society can do to help people who for many reasons — good and bad — have lost their jobs, lost their battle with addiction and who have lost their direction in life.
