EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A man was arrested and charged with negligent homicide after he had a physical confrontation with another man this week near Horizon, according to the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

The Sheriff's Office says just before 1 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, deputies were dispatched to the 500 block of Winter Spring Place in reference to a domestic dispute.

The initial investigation revealed that a physical altercation occurred between Jeremiah Nathanial Aguilar, 23, and a 37-year-old man, the Sheriff's Office said.

The man was taken to a local hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

On Friday, Oct. 10, a warrant was issued for Aguilar's arrest for criminally negligent homicide. He was then located at his residence and was taken into custody and booked
