Hello there! A wet and chilly weekend continues into Sunday, with mountain snow likely on the way.

Expect more rain throughout the Spokane area on Sunday, with the heaviest showers occurring from late morning to early afternoon. High temperatures will reach the upper 40s, accompanied by winds around 10 mph.

Mountain snow is arriving for the first time this season. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the northeast corner of Washington, while a Winter Storm Warning covers the Idaho Panhandle. These conditions are expected late Sunday into Monday morning. Both advisories forecast 2 to 6 inches of snow above 3,000 feet. Until Sunday night, the snow level hovered around 4,100 feet.
