SPOKANE, Wash. -- Despite the wet weather, hundreds of people gathered in Riverfront Park Saturday morning for the Walk to End Alzheimer's.
This is an annual event hosted by The Alzheimer's Association. Participants in the walk carried flowers to honor their connections to the disease.
The money raised will go towards care, support and research programs.
In Washington, more than 126,000 people are currently living with Alzheimer's.
