DALLAS — A man initially charged with the September stabbing of a woman in Old East Dallas is now facing a murder charge after the victim died from her injuries, police said.
According to the Dallas Police Department, 48-year-old Damion Solomon stabbed 57-year-old Delia Duron multiple times around 5 p.m. on Sept. 29. Duron was taken to the hospital, and officers arrested Solomon and booked him into the Dallas County Jail, charged with aggravated assault family violence with a deadly weapon on Sept. 30, jail records show.
Police announced that Duron died from her injuries on Oct. 11. Solomon now faces an additional charge of murder, records show.
