COLUMBIA, Mo. — Even as Missouri football fell to Alabama on Saturday, it added two more prospects to a 2026 recruiting class that's nearing completion.
Johnnie Jones, a four-star offensive lineman from Venice, Florida, verbally committed while on an official visit to MU. So did Brysen Wessell, a three-star lineman from Jackson, Missouri.
Together, they're the 15th and 16th recruits to commit to the Tigers this recruiting cycle.
Jones is ranked as the 14th-best offensive tackle prospect in the class by 247Sports. He was initially committed to UCLA but dropped that pledge after the Bruins fired Deshaun Foster. Jones took visits at various points to Ole Miss, Vanderbilt and Florida State.
