LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Texas Tech defensive tackle Skyler Gil-Howard and QB Behren Morton both suffered lower leg injuries in the first half against Kansas on Homecoming night.

Coach Joey McGuire said in his postgame press conference that Gil-Howard got leg whipped by a fellow Red Raider.
McGuire said they took him into the indoor facility to tape him up but he “didn’t look great” so they put him in the boot.
McGuire said he’s feeling better and it was precautionary following a negative x-ray. But, the exact injury is still unknown right now.
Meanwhile, McGuire said Morton re-injured his right leg, which first happened in game one against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
