(WHTM) -- A pig has been on the loose in part of Lancaster County for awhile now, and we have an update.

It had been spotted around the Conestoga Country Club golf course in Manor Township and efforts were underway to catch the pig.

Last month, Stephanie Reddinger worked with Eastern Snouts Adoption and Rehoming to set up a trap and lure the pig into a fenced-in yard with a trail of cheerios.

Friday, she told abc27 News that the pig ha been caught.

It's now home with a foster family.
