KNOXVILLE - Two teams who put up a lot of points faced off Saturday afternoon but 12th-ranked Tennessee had just enough in the tank to hold on to a 34-31 win over Arkansas.

The Volunteers and Razorbacks combined for 981 yards of total offense on 141 plays and had 51 first downs. Tennessee took advantage of three Arkansas fumbles and the defense recorded five sacks.

“Ultimately, we found a way to win but made it close at the end, “UT head coach Josh Heupel said.
