Oct 12, 2025; Tottenham, United Kingdom; Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix (10) throws a pass against the New York Jets during an NFL International Series game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The New York Jets (0-6) will enter Week 7 as the NFL's only winless team, a label that they were unable shed this week in their 13-11 loss to the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Quarterback Justin Fields was at the receiving end of nine sacks in the matchup, finishing the game 9-of-17 passing for 45 yards in the loss. While the sacks are a gaudy number, Fields didn't do himself any favors, with several of those sacks coming after Fields' own indecision.

The Broncos defense has been among the best in the NFL this season, and they helped close the game after Bo Nix and the offense sputtered in the second half. They mustered just three points in the final two quarters, as Bo Nix and the rest of the offense looked out of sorts.

That all resulted, however, in a two-point win for the Broncos overseas, while the Jets are still looking to take flight.

Jets vs. Broncos highlights

Broncos stop Jets on fourth down, enter victory formation

The Broncos and Jets were in a slap fight all afternoon, and it resulted in a Denver victory. After opting not to kick a 62-yard field goal, the Jets decided to go for it on fourth-and-8, and Justin Fields was immediately sacked to stop the drive, ending the Jets' chances at a victory. The Broncos move to 4-2, while the Jets drop to 0-6 on the season.

Jets-Broncos score: Jets driving with 2 minutes left

A first-down handoff that bounced off of Justin Fields' hands and into the hands of Breece Hall, who took it up the gut for six yards. The fortuitous bounce gets the Jets moving towards field goal range at the 2-minute warning.

Jermaine Johnson sacks Bo Nix, Jets have life late

With 2:34 left, the Jets have an opportunity to take the lead after a Broncos punt. They'll take over from their own 43-yard line with 2:23 left in the matchup, only needing a field goal to take the lead.

Broncos force 3-and-out, take over with lead, time ticking down

A run for no gain, a misfire to Garrett Wilson and a sack means the Jets' attempt at taking the lead came up woefully short vs. the Broncos. A punt gives Denver the ball back late. The Jets have two timeouts and the 2-minute warning.

Jets-Broncos score: Jets hold Denver to field goal

Wil Lutz boots a 27-yard field goal to put the Broncos back up by two points with 5:08 left in the fourth quarter. The Broncos had a golden, goal-to-go opportunity – the first for either team during the matchup.

Aaron Glenn burns timeout, opts to punt

The Jets could have made a quick decision to punt deep in their own territory, but the choice wasn't that simple for Aaron Glenn. Instead, the Jets head coach kept the offense on the field before deciding to punt, burning a valuable second-half timeout.

Jets lead entering fourth quarter

Deep in their own territory with a few minutes into the fourth quarter, the Jets lead the Broncos by one point. Denver's offense has stalled out, while the Jets defense seems to have turned a bit of a corner.

Justin Fields contract details

Fields signed a two-year, $40 million contract with the Jets this offseason, with $30 million guaranteed. He will be an unrestricted free agent following the 2026 season.

Jets-Broncos score: Denver leads as second half gets underway

Isaiah Williams took the Wil Lutz kickoff to the Jets' 43-yard line to set up shop for New York early in the second half.

Justin Fields, Jets go quietly into halftime after confusing sequence

A completely bizarre 2-minute drill led to nothing for the Jets, and befuddled everyone in the process. Instead of running a Hail Mary with time ticking down, New York opted to let time expire. The Broncos enter the half with a four-point lead, but the Jets get the ball coming out of half.

Jets convert on fake punt

A fake punt leads to a Breece Hall rush right up the gut to barely pick up the first down to keep the Jets drive rolling with one minute left in the first half. It's just the second first down of the game for the Jets.

Jets get their first first down of the game

It has happened: The Jets successfully moved the ball far enough to secure a new set of downs for the first time in the game, which came with 2:32 left in the first half.

Jets get ball back with time ticking down in half

Will McDonald injury update: Jets edge being evaluated for concussion

The Jets got one pass rusher back but they may be without another. Will McDonald was taken to the locker room, as he is being evaluated for a concussion.

The Jets returned pass rusher Jermaine Johnson, who had been out the previous three weeks with an ankle injury.

Jets offensive coordinator

The Jets offensive coordinator is Tanner Engstrand, who followed Aaron Glenn to the Jets coaching staff from Detroit. Engstrand was part of a creative offensive staff that featured Ben Johnson at the top. Engstrand operated as the team's passing game coordinator between 2022 and 2024.

Jets-Broncos score: Bo Nix finds Nate Adkins for TD as first quarter ends

The fourth-down conversion turned out to be a spark for the Broncos offense: Denver marched down to the Jets end zone, with Nix finding tight end Nate Adkins for six as time expired in the first quarter. A Wil Lutz extra point makes this a four-point game.

Broncos convert fourth-and-5, keep chains moving

The Broncos offense hasn't been doing much today vs. a seemingly resurgent Jets defense, until an Evan Engram fourth-and-5 conversion. That gives the Broncos a fresh set of downs in Jets territory.

The Jets couldn't turn the big kickoff return into more than three points, as the drive goes nowhere. Luckily, Folk hit his second field goal of the affair to put the Jets back up.
