Residents in a Scots town have been left terrified after a man 'with a weapon' was captured on doorbell footage. ‌

The incident happened at around 3.30am on Sunday, October 12. A resident on Weaver Place in Bathgate showed a hooded thug in a puffer jacket and jeans holding what appears to be a pipe or baseball bat, as he sticks up the middle finger to the front door, reports Edinburgh Live. ‌

The owners of the property say they 'haven't done anything to anyone' and feel the person 'had the intention of robbing them'. ‌

They said: "We have not done anything to anyone and only been in this area a year.

"I think he had the intention to rob us. Very traumatic experience for two vulnerable people." ‌
