The family of a Yorkshire grandmother bludgeoned to death in her own home are appealing for information, 20 years on from her murder.

Nora Tait, 69, was brutally killed in her own home in Stone Close Avenue, Doncaster, 20 years ago today on October 12, 2005.

Her body was discovered by a close friend the following day, with her fish and chip dinner laying untouched on the dining room table, Yorkshire Live reports.

The weapon used to attack Nora has never been found and the only item taken from her home was a black leather purse, which has also never been recovered.

Now, Nora's daughter Jayne has appealed for anyone with information to come forward while visiting revisiting her mum's former home.
