FARGO — A fire at a south Fargo twin home on Saturday, Oct. 11, left two households displaced and one person injured.

According to the Fargo Fire Department, crews were called to a twin home at 5110 48th Avenue South around 10:02 p.m.

When crews arrived, heavy flames were coming from the west side unit that extended from the ground floor to the roof. The strong winds on Saturday spread the flames to the second twin home unit, the fire department said.

The residents of the two homes were outside when crews arrived, and firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control by 10:37 p.m.

One person was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. One dog found inside by firefighters was taken to a local veterinarian for evaluation.
