NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Chase Young, expected to be the Saints’ top pass rusher this season, will make his season debut Sunday (Oct. 12) against New England.
Young missed New Orleans’ first five games as he recovered from a calf injury sustained in the preseason.
The Saints also will have star running back Alvin Kamara for the noon game against the Patriots at Caesars Superdome. Kamara had been listed as questionable after aggravating an ankle injury in Wednesday’s practice.
Starting safety Justin Reid has cleared concussion protocol and is playing Sunday, as is right guard Cesar Ruiz, who was limited earlier this week as he recovered from an ankle injury.
