A doctor has issued guidance for regular social media users, highlighting how doomscrolling can worsen anxiety and stress levels. Whilst countless individuals rely on social platforms to unwind during their spare time, they may actually be damaging their psychological wellbeing through endless negative scrolling.
Fortunately, Dr Raj Arora, an NHS doctor and medical educator, has offered practical advice to help people "switch off from 'doomscrolling'."
