After more than a century of serving Oklahoma City, Bill Kamp's Meat Market has officially closed its doors, marking the end of an era for one of the city’s longest-running family-owned businesses.

The market, located along Western Avenue, has been a staple in the community since its founding in 1910.

Known for its quality meats, homemade deli items, and personal customer service, the closure has sparked an outpouring of support and emotion from loyal customers across the state.

“The customers are the best in the state and the nation,” said longtime employee Todrick Harding, who has worked at the market for 25 years. “Customers have come in crying, thanking us for everything we’ve done. It’s reassuring that even though we’re closed, we didn’t fail.”
