CALHOUN COUNTY, Michigan — A man is in custody for drunk driving in a crash that left one person hospitalized early Sunday morning in Calhoun County.
According to the Calhoun County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), around 12:30 a.m., deputies responded to eastbound I-94 near Partello Road in Marengo Township for a crash.
When they arrived, deputies found two vehicles that had rolled several times.
A 63-year-old woman from Jackson was trapped in her vehicle and needed to be extricated by emergency crews. She received non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 26-year-old man from Albion, was not injured in the crash.
