PITTSBURGH —

A man is facing multiple charges after police say he resisted arrest and started biting an officer outside of a bar along Pittsburgh's North Shore Sunday morning.

According to a criminal complaint, an off-duty officer was informed by an employee at Tequila Cowboy that a "highly intoxicated and disorderly" man had been asked to leave the bar and refused. Advertisement

The complaint said that when the officer and additional security approached, the man was speaking English. They told him multiple times that he needed to leave the bar, and he told them “no.”

The man, later identified as Almir Lopes De Barros, was then escorted outside the bar.

The incident occurred just before 1:30 a.m.
