A street in Manchester city centre was taped off on Sunday night (October 12) after a fire erupted at an apartment block.
Residents were seen spilling out on to the street and watching on from the cordon as fire crews attended the scene on Dale Street to tackle the blaze.
The road was cordoned off in both directions amid the emergency response, after the alarm was raised shortly before 6pm. No injuries have yet been reported, the fire service confirmed in a statement.
