Moisture has been in place once again today across much of the region. Heaviest of showers and storms have been across the southern half of New Mexico. These storms will continue to move through as we head into the later evening hours. Overnight a few strong showers are expected to move across the far southern portion of New Mexico with cloud coverage hanging on for the rest of the region.

More tropical moisture will continue to move into New Mexico Monday and Tuesday, bringing more widespread chances for rain and storms across nearly the entire state. Monday will bring a threat of heavy rainfall and flash flooding from central to southwest New Mexico, along with cooler high temperatures.
