BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WBRC ) - As fans pack the stands at football games this fall, would you know how to respond if you saw someone collapse and stop breathing?
Although first responders are likely at the game, every second counts, and safety company GoRescue wants you to know CPR.
Fans saw this live-saving measure save a referee in Sylacauga already this football season , and GoRescue says they train about 60,000 people a year to do just that.
While there may be a fire station just across the street from a sporting event, safety advocates say first responders could already be on a call, delaying their response even more.
They want everyone to know this skill.
