LOUISVILLE, Ky. — In 2014, the Louisville Hispanic Chamber of Commerce was formed.

“The primary purpose of the chamber is to provide a safe place where Louisville Hispanic business owners and professionals can meet [and] network with each other with the hopes of collaborating down the line,” said Alejandro Pousa, board chair.

Open to everyone, the chamber focuses on networking and education, offering workshops and advocacy.

“What we’re advocating for is workforce development and access to resources that are already in the city," Pousa said.

There are more than 100 members across many industries, including the restaurant business, construction, professional services such as consulting and more.
