93 employees and ex-employees at Build A Rocket Boy (BARB) have written to the company "to address the longstanding disrespect and mistreatment".

The open letter follows more than 250 developers at the Edinburgh-based computer game developer being laid off in the summer, following the release of new game series MindsEye in June.

Together with the Game Workers Branch of the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) union, they accused management of repeatedly refusing to listen to the workforce’s years of experience, "resulting in one of the worst video game launches this decade".
