Human remains have been discovered at a beach popular with holiday-makers , with the area sealed off and officers conducting inquiries at the site. ‌

Authorities were alerted to Saunton Sands in North Devon at 2.50pm on Saturday, and it has since been verified that human remains have been uncovered. Inquiries are continuing with officers at the scene this morning as the remains are set to be analysed by a forensic archaeologist to determine their age. ‌
