Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto is expected to arrive in Israel on Oct. 14 or 15, Israel’s Channel 12 broadcaster reported on Monday.

The Muslim-majority country does not have official ties with Israel.

The potential visit would mark the first-ever to Israel by an Indonesian head of state.

Such a visit portends a potential normalization of ties with the Jewish state, as Washington is seeking to expand the Abraham Accords cemented during U.S. President Donald Trump’s first term.
