KALAMAZOO COUNTY, MI – Police arrested three people and recovered firearms and drugs while serving a search warrant at a house in Kalamazoo County’s Cooper Township.

Police seized a quarter pound of methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, and three firearms.

The Southwest Enforcement Team, Kalamazoo County Sheriff’s Office, Kalamazoo Metro SWAT and state police executed a search warrant on Thursday, Oct. 9, related to investigations of stolen firearms and drugs.

Three Kalamazoo residents were arrested.

A 37-year-old man was arrested for second-degree home invasion, and a 37-year-old woman was arrested for failure to appear in court. A 31-year-old man was arrested for a parole violation, police said.

Multiple people are expected to face drug charges.

The investigation continues.
