Federal and local authorities successfully rescued more than 30 missing children and uncovered several trafficking operations in a coordinated effort across Texas. The operation, known as "Operation Lightning Bug," was centered in San Antonio and led to multiple arrests, felony warrants, and new investigations.
The U.S. Marshals Service (USMS), in collaboration with the San Antonio Police Department (SAPD) and the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force, spearheaded the initiative.
