Conservative media personality Megyn Kelly fumed at Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) Monday over her remarks celebrating the return of Israeli hostages, accusing the senator of omitting one crucial detail.

The last remaining living Israeli hostages were returned home early Monday following an agreement reached under President Donald Trump’s Gaza peace plan. Warren celebrated the hostages’ return Monday in a lengthy social media post, and urged world leaders to pursue a two-state solution to put an end to hostilities in the region for good.

“Today is a good day,” Warren wrote on X. “Surviving Israeli hostages are finally home and reuniting with loved ones. I'm thinking of them and their families on this joyful day and praying for their full recovery. I'm also grieving for all those who can't come home today.”

Kelly, however, was apparently insulted by Warren’s comments, firing back at the senator for not mentioning Trump’s role in the hostages’ return.

“You’re so gross,” Kelly wrote Monday morning in a social media post on X. “Trump did it. Just say it.”

Kelly was not alone in her rage at Warren for failing to shower Trump with praise, with Michigan Senate Minority Leader Aric Nesbitt firing off on the senator as well.

“You forgot to say ‘thank you President Trump,’” Nesbitt wrote in a social media post on X Monday in response to Warren’s remarks.

Trump has played an instrumental role in negotiating a return of the Israeli hostages and an end to the hostilities between Israel and Hamas, however, according to public comments from many high-ranking Israeli officials, the end to hostilities may be short-lived.

Several Israeli officials,

including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu himself

, have suggested that Israel’s siege on Gaza may very well continue following the return of the Israeli hostages, and in direct contradiction to Trump’s peace plan, a revelation that has seen Trump receive a

wave of scrutiny

from several prominent critics.
