Pedestrian fatally struck by vehicle in Spanish Lake area

ST. LOUIS COUNTY — A man in a roadway here was fatally struck by a motorist early Sunday morning, police said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash shortly after 1:30 a.m. in the 11900 block of Lusher Road, near Victorian Village Drive, according to St. Louis County police.

The man, who was not publicly identified, was in the roadway when a passing vehicle struck him, police said. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
