Lubbock-area libraries and museum will host Día de los Muertos celebrations featuring traditional hands-on activities and lessons about the holiday Friday through Sunday around the community.

Lubbock Groves library hosting crafts events

The Groves Branch Library will host its October Kids' Crafternoon featuring crafts on the theme of Halloween, Día de los Muertos and more from 3:30 to 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 17 at the library located at 5520 19th St.
