TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - On Sunday, Tucson Fire responded to a swift water rescue near East Calle Betelgeux and South Avenida Planeta at 6:17 p.m. A pick-up truck was stuck in about four feet of water near the Alamo Wash.
Ladder 9 successfully extended its aerial ladder to rescue the occupant safely.
Residents are reminded to stay safe and avoid all flooded washes and roadways during monsoon.
