Queen legend Sir Brian May was flooded with support from fans as he issued a heartbreaking statement about the loss of his dear friend. The 78-year-old guitarist took to social media this weekend to pay a touching tribute to Phil Webb - his good pal and driver who he had known for decades. ‌

Brian previously said it was the “saddest day of his life” when Phil suddenly passed away following a heart attack in 2023. Two years on from the anniversary of his death, Brian has issued another moving statement. ‌

It says: “In my thoughts today, the unforgettable Phil Webb – seen here with me, proudly looking after me as he always did, at my knighthood ceremony at Buckingham Palace . He was suddenly taken from this world two years ago, way, way too soon. ‌
