FREMONT — The Great Lakes Community Action Partnership continues to enroll preschool students for its Head Start program for the 2025-26 school year.
“While the school year is already underway, we want families to know that they may enroll their children at any time in our Head Start programs,” said Jacquie Wells, the partnership’s child development director.
Head Start offers no-cost, all-day early education for eligible families. The partnership’s early childhood centers are in Lucas, Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, and Wood counties. Along with full-day preschool, Head Start provides meals and snacks; health, vision, and dental screenings; and family engagement opportunities.
Families are eligible for Head Start if household income is at or below federal poverty guidelines. Children who a
