IDA GROVE, Iowa —

State investigators recently searched the former home of Connie Ruddy in northwest Iowa as part of the ongoing investigation into her disappearance over 25 years ago.

Ruddy was reported missing in February 1997, and her partial remains were found in 1999, and recently identified through DNA testing.

Last week, the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and local law enforcement searched her home and seized items of interest for forensic analysis.

The investigation into Ruddy's disappearance remains ongoing.
