HOUSTON – October marks Filipino American History Month — a time to reflect on the stories, struggles and contributions of Filipino Americans. From food to art and music, it’s all about honoring Filipino heritage and the stories that continue to shape American life.

This year, the Filipino Young Professionals of Houston (FYP) is hosting its 10th annual Houston Filipino Street Festival, a daylong celebration of Filipino culture, community and cuisine. The volunteer-powered event brings together local businesses, performers and food vendors for a day filled with flavor and fun.
