ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) - Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar called on fans to show up Monday afternoon at Piedmont Park for a free pop-up concert.

Hundreds showed up to the Meadow, however, it was reportedly shut down after just a few songs.

Video shown on social media shows fans crowded around the singer for the surprise performance.

“We’re almost home, Atlanta,” the R&B singer said on social media. “Hurry up,” he said, while adding that the reason for the timing was due to traffic in the city.

This isn’t the first time Caesar has done surprise pop-ups. Over the weekend, a similar event was shut down at a park in Houston.
