WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Voters in McPherson County will decide if a proposed sales tax will fund the future of emergency medical services.

The Nov. 4 ballot is asking voters whether to approve a ½ cent (0.5%) sales tax, which would go into effect on April 1. The distribution would be: • McPherson EMS: 49% • Lindsborg EMS: 18% • Moundridge EMS: 15% • Rural Fire District 1 (Canton): 10% • Rural Fire District 2 (Marquette): 8%
