Stockton may soon bring new life to its long-vacant Teen Impact Center downtown. The Hollywood Cares Foundation is leading a proposal to seek a state grant that would fund the building’s rehabilitation, turning it into a youth services hub offering mental health support and temporary housing. Main Street Youth & Family Services could partner in the project, which the City Council will vote on this week. Supporters say the plan would help revitalize downtown Stockton while filling a crucial gap in youth mental health resources across the county.
