SHREVEPORT, La. - Arena football is coming back to Shreveport - quarterbacked by one of Shreveport's own. Entrepreneur Keith Carter told the City Council Monday he has taken sole ownership of the Louisiana Rouxgaroux, an indoor arena football franchise now competing in the National Arena League.

Carter said the team secured dates at Brookshire Grocery Arena and plans seven home games in spring 2026. He rolled out a “Unity in the Community” ticket initiative that would place 50 discounted seats per game with local nonprofits, churches and the Caddo Parish School Board.
