In a boys soccer tournament tune-up between two highly-ranked local sides, Perrysburg doubled up Maumee Valley 4-2 on Monday.

Perrysburg (13-1-2) came into the game ranked No. 5 in the Division I state poll, while Maumee Valley (13-2-1) was No. 3 in the Division V state poll.

Colin Tomlinson and Colin Broadway scored first-half goals for Perrysburg, while Carson Page and Isaac Paule scored in the second half for the Yellow Jackets.

Louie Snelling scored both goals for the Hawks, one in each half.

Despite the size discrepancy between the schools, the Hawks kept it fairly tight on their home field in the regular season finale for both programs.
