MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman was arrested following a crash investigation involving a Memphis Police (MPD) officer Monday morning near the Memphis airport.
The crash happened around 7 a.m. on Airways Boulevard at Raines Road.
FOX13 arrived to find a police SUV with front damage and its airbags deployed. MPD said a woman was hurt in the crash but her injuries were not considered serious.
An officer involved in the crash was not transported from the scene, MPD said. Police also said that the officer was not at fault.
MPD said that the woman's information showed that she had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear for a misdemeanor case out of Collierville; after being taken to Methodist South and cleared by the doctor, the woman was arrested and transferred to the Collierville Police De
