HILLSDALE – Though the Lumen Christi Titans struck first, Hillsdale Academy had an answer by the end of the first half of Monday’s Division 4 boys soccer district semifinal at Hillsdale College’s Hayden Park, and when Lumen Christi tied it again in the second half, the Colts responded again to pick up a 5-2 win over the Titans.
Lumen Christi opened the scoring in the fourth minute. Ollie Stevens made a run up the right side and crossed a ball over to Titans freshman Kobe Hunt, who scored. That goal came moments after another promising chance for Stevens, which Colts goalkeeper Adam Alvarez denied with a diving save.
