MADISON (WKOW) -- Madison police officer Ryan Kimberley was reunited with his K9 partner, as he continues the long road to recovery after being hit by a tow truck while in his squad car.

Officer Kimberley was severely injured and is undergoing surgeries.

His K9 partner, Freddie, was also in the vehicle when the tow truck smashed into them, head-on.

Freddie only suffered a scratch on his paw and had to be away from his partner's side, until Monday.

Freddie was able to visit Officer Kimberley in the hospital.

The fundraiser for Officer Kimberley has raised more than $94,000.
