VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Some people living in Virginia Beach's Ocean Park neighborhood said the recent storm made a mess during an ongoing city wetlands restoration project.

Now, they're concerned about possible pollution after multiple residents said barrels and portable restrooms were pushed around in the high water from this weekend's nor'easter.

There has been community frustration with how the city has handled this project zone from the beginning.

Ocean Park resident, Tim Solanic, said the frustration started when the Pleasure House Point Wetlands Restoration Project ripped more than 5,000 trees out earlier this year.

Solanic believes seeing the equipment floating this weekend only furthered his anger.
