CINCINNATI (WXIX) - For the second time this month, a shooting is under investigation on or near Fountain Square in the heart of downtown Cincinnati.
Two people - a 16-year-old boy and a man - were shot and wounded at a restaurant there Monday night, according to police.
It happened at CityBird Tenders shortly before 8 p.m.
The victims were taken with non-life-threatening injuries to separate hospitals: the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, police say.
Gunshots rang out and went through the restaurant window, according to police.
Two people were taken into custody, including a teenager arrested in Over-the-Rhine shortly after the shooting, Police Chief Teresa Theetge told reporters late Monday.
