FLINT, MI – Part of Bristol Road near Flint Bishop Airport was shut down for several hours on Monday, Oct. 13, while police investigated a suspicious package near the railroad tracks.
Canadian National Railway police identified a package that resembled an explosive device and contacted Flint Township Police and Flint Police Department, according to FTPD officials.
The Flint Police Department bomb squad determined the package was not an explosive device.
Bristol Road was closed between Marketplace Drive and the Bishop International Airport main entrance. The road reopened around 5 p.m.
